Plusfilm is a specialist ‘action vehicle’ company set up to serve the Film Industry by supplying ‘on set’ vehicles, special effects engineering and overall project co-ordination. The company was created in 1994 by Steve Lamonby, after a successful career as a design engineer in the aerospace and off shore oil industry.

We aim to supply and operate ‘on set’ any type of motorised vehicle, modern or period. If it exists we can supply, if it does not we will build you one! One of our areas of expertise is in period and military subjects. We have managed the vehicle and heavy weapons content of all the leading war films for the last fifteen years, and are able to offer historical military advice and research on all aspects of the correct item to use, and how it should be used.

We have a team of qualified (‘H’ licence) tank drivers; trained to operate as per military requirements, to ensure ‘on set’ efficiency and safety. We have completed many major film projects all over the world, and are always ready to view your requirements. A free service we offer is to break down and quote a budget cost from your shooting schedule. We are always pleased to offer help, advice etc., free of charge.
